1990ന് ശേഷം ഇസ്ലാമോഫോബിയ ശക്തിപ്പെട്ടത് ഒരു സാംസ്‌കാരിക യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലാണെന്നും അവക്ക് പിന്നില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നത് വംശീയ വികാരമാണെന്നും നാം തിരിച്ചറിയേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. മുസ്‌ലിം നാടുകളില്‍ അധിനിവേശം നടത്താന്‍ യു.എസ് സാമ്രാജ്യത്വം ഇസ്ലാമോഫോബിയ വ്യാപിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇതിനായി 2001 സെപ്തംബര്‍ 11ന്റെ ഭീകരാക്രമണങ്ങള്‍ വിദഗ്ധമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. കൃത്രിമമായി നിര്‍മിച്ചെടുത്ത തെളിവുകള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഇറാഖ് ജനതയെ കൂട്ടക്കുരുതിക്കിരയാക്കി. അഫ്ഗാനിസ്താനിലും ഇറാഖിലുമായി 20 ലക്ഷത്തിലേറെ മനുഷ്യരെ യുഎസ് സാമ്രാജ്യത്വം കുരുതികഴിച്ചു. ഹീനത്വവും സംസ്‌കാര ശൂന്യതയും നിലീനമായ ഒരു ജനത ഈ വിധം തകര്‍ത്തെറിയപ്പെടുന്നത് ശരിയാണെന്ന പ്രതീതി ജനിപ്പിക്കുംവിധം അധിനിവേശ ശക്തികളെ ചെറുത്തുനില്‍ക്കുന്നവരെ ഭീകരര്‍ എന്ന് വിളിക്കാന്‍ മുഖ്യധാരാ മീഡിയ ആവേശം കാണിക്കുന്നു.
നൈസര്‍ഗികമായിത്തന്നെ ഒരു ജനത ഭീകര പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം നടത്തുന്നവരാണെന്ന ചിന്താഗതിയിലേക്ക് സാമാന്യ ജനങ്ങളെ എത്തിക്കുന്ന വിധമാണ് ഭീകര പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഏത് സ്‌ഫോടനം നടന്നാലും നിമിഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കകം സംശയത്തിന്റെ നിഴലിലേക്ക് ഒരു പ്രത്യേക സമൂഹം മാറ്റിനിര്‍ത്തപ്പെടുന്നത് എത്ര സമര്‍ത്ഥമായും ആസൂത്രിതമായുമാണ്! മാധ്യമ നൈതികത തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി ലംഘിക്കപ്പെട്ടാലും ഇതിലെ കുറ്റവാളികള്‍ക്ക് ബൈലൈനില്‍ തുടരാം.
സാമൂഹിക-രാഷ്ട്രീയ-സാമ്പത്തിക-വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ പ്രാന്തവല്‍ക്കരണമല്ല, ഒരു പ്രത്യേക സമൂഹത്തില്‍ ‘നിലീനമായ’ ജൂഗുപ്‌സാവഹമായ സ്വഭാവ വൈകൃതങ്ങളാണ് അക്കൂട്ടരെ ഭീകരരാക്കി മാറ്റുന്നതെന്ന സിദ്ധാന്തം സ്വതന്ത്ര ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഫാഷിസ്റ്റുകളില്‍ മാത്രമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ആശയമായിരുന്നു. ഇത് 1990 ന് ശേഷം ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ മുഖ്യധാരാവല്കരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതാണ് നാം കാണുന്നത്. ആഗോളതലത്തില്‍ ഈ സമീപനരീതിക്ക് കിട്ടിയ അധികാര ശക്തികളുടെ ആശിര്‍വാദമാണ് ഇതിനു പിന്നില്‍.
‘മുസ്‌ലിം ഭീകരത’യില്‍ നിന്ന് മോചനം നല്കിയവരായി സ്വയം അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ ഒരു ‘ഹൈന്ദവ ഭൂതകാലം’ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് രക്ഷകരായി അവതരിക്കുക എന്നത് ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് കൊളോണിയല്‍ നയമായിരുന്നു. ഒരൂ കാലഘട്ടത്തെ മതവുമായി സാത്മീകരിച്ച് ചരിത്രവക്രീകരണം നടത്തി ഒരു ജനതയെ മുഴുവന്‍ ശത്രുപക്ഷത്ത് നിര്‍ത്തി വിചാരണ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് കൊളോണിയലിസ്റ്റുകള്‍ ചരിത്ര രചന നിര്‍വഹിച്ചത്. ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഇത് സവര്‍ണമേല്‍ക്കോയ്മ എന്ന വംശീയവാദത്തിന് അനുഗുണമായി പരിണമിച്ചത് സ്വാഭാവികമാണ്.
മുസ്‌ലിം ഭരണാധികാരികളൊക്കെ ഇസ്‌ലാമിന്റെ പ്രതിരൂപങ്ങളാണെന്നും അവരുടെ യുദ്ധങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നിലുള്ള ലക്ഷ്യം ഇസ്‌ലാമാണ് എന്ന് വരുത്തലുമായിരുന്നു കൊളോണിയല്‍ പദ്ധതി. ക്ഷേത്രക്കൊള്ള, ബലപ്രയോഗത്തിലൂടെയുള്ള മതം മാറ്റം എന്നിവ ഇസ്‌ലാമിക വിരുദ്ധമായിട്ട് കൂടി ഈ നെറികേടുകള്‍ മുസ്‌ലിംകളുടെ മേല്‍ ആരോപിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഇതിനായി ചരിത്രത്തെ വക്രീകരിച്ചു. സാമ്രാജ്യനിര്‍മിതിക്കായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവര്‍ ഇസ്‌ലാമിന്റെ പ്രതീകങ്ങളായി ചിത്രീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. സവര്‍ണ താല്‍പര്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കനുഗുണമായ ഒരു പുഷ്‌കല കാലം തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുവരാനുള്ള അഭിനിവേശവുമായി ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഫാഷിസം ശക്തിപ്പെടുന്നത് ഈ കൊളോണിയല്‍ ചരിത്ര സംവേദനത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ഊര്‍ജ്ജം വലിച്ചെടുത്തുകൊണ്ടാണ്.
മതപരമായ അപരവത്കരണത്തിലും വിദ്വേഷത്തിലും മാത്രമാണ് ഫാഷിസം തഴച്ചുവളരുന്നത്. അപരവല്‍കരിക്കപ്പെട്ട ജനതയെക്കുറിച്ച് വിദ്വേഷജടിലമായ പ്രചാരണ യുദ്ധം നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് മാത്രമാണ് ഫാഷിസ്റ്റ് ശക്തികള്‍ക്ക് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കാനാവുക. എല്ലാ തെറ്റുകള്‍ക്കും നിദാനമായ അപരനെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച് വെറുപ്പിന്റെ മണ്ഡലം സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടേ ഫാഷിസത്തിന് നിലനില്‍ക്കാന്‍ പോലുമാവൂ. ഇവയാണ് ഫാഷിസത്തിന്റെ പ്രാണവായുവും ഭക്ഷണവും. ഫാഷിസത്തിന്റെ പോപ്പുലിസ്റ്റ് രീതികളോട് മത്സരിക്കാന്‍ മതേതരം എന്ന് വിവക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍ബന്ധിതരാക്കപ്പെടും. മാത്രമല്ല, തങ്ങളില്‍ തന്നെ അന്തഃസ്ഥിതമായ വംശീയ പക്ഷപാതിത്തം, ഫാഷിസത്തെ പരോക്ഷമായി സഹായിക്കും വിധം മതേതരത്വ ധ്വംസനത്തിന്റെ ചട്ടുകമായി മതേതര പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെപ്പോലും മാറ്റിയേക്കാമെന്ന് ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യന്‍ അനുഭവങ്ങള്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നു.
വര്‍ഗീയ-കൊളോണിയല്‍ ചരിത്രപരിപ്രേക്ഷ്യമുല്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ചരിത്ര സംവേദനം ഏത് ജനതയുടെയും വര്‍ഗീയ വല്‍ക്കരണത്തെ ത്വരിതപ്പെടുത്തും. മതനിരപേക്ഷ ചരിത്രപഠനം വ്യാപിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ് ഇതിന് ഒരേയൊരൂ പ്രതിവിധി. ഇന്ത്യന്‍-ജര്‍മ്മന്‍ ഫാഷിസങ്ങള്‍ വളര്‍ന്നത് താരതമ്യപ്പെടുത്തിനോക്കൂ: ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ മുസ്‌ലിം അപരത്വവും ജര്‍മ്മനിയില്‍ ജൂത അപരത്വവും മുഖ്യധാരാ സമീപനമാക്കി ക്രമത്തില്‍ പരിവര്‍ത്തിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് കൃത്രിമമായ സ്വജന ഐക്യം’നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചെടുക്കുന്നത്. മുസ്‌ലിം അപരന്‍ എന്നും അക്രമാരിയും സമാധാന ഭഞ്ജകനും കുറ്റവാളിയുമായിരിക്കും. ഈ ഭാഷ്യത്തിന് പിന്നിലെ വര്‍ഗീയ-സാമ്രാജ്യത്വ-ഫാഷിസ്റ്റ് അജണ്ടകളെ കൃത്യമായി തിരിച്ചറിയുക എന്നതാണ് ജ്ഞാന ശാസ്ത്രപരമായി പ്രബുദ്ധനാവുക എന്നതിനര്‍ത്ഥം.
സാംസ്‌കാരിക വംശീയത
ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു ജനവിഭാഗത്തെ അധഃസ്ഥിതരാക്കി നിലനിര്‍ത്താനും അവര്‍ക്ക് അര്‍ഹിച്ച സാമ്പത്തികമോ സാമൂഹികമോ ആയ നീതി നിഷേധിക്കാനുമുള്ള ശ്രമം വംശവെറിയുടെ ഉല്‍പ്പന്നമാണ്. ഏതെങ്കിലും ജനവിഭാഗത്തെ അപരവല്‍കരിക്കാനും താഴ്ത്തിക്കെട്ടാനും അവരില്‍ കുറ്റവാളിത്തമോ ഭീകര പ്രവണതയോ ഉണ്ടെന്ന് നിരൂപിക്കും വിധം പ്രചാരണം നടത്തുന്നതിന്റെ പിന്നിലും പ്രര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഘടകം വംശവെറി തന്നെ. ഈ വംശീയ സമീപനത്തിന്റെ കൂടുതല്‍ അഭിശപ്തമായ രൂപമാണ് ഹിറ്റ്‌ലറില്‍ നാം ദര്‍ശിക്കുന്നത്. ഹിറ്റ്‌ലറുടെ വീക്ഷണത്തില്‍ ജനം അവരുടെ വംശത്തെ ജീര്‍ണിക്കാന്‍ അനുവദിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ മാത്രമാണത്രെ മഹത്വം വിനഷ്ടമാകുന്നത്. ലോക ചരിത്രത്തിലെ സംഭവങ്ങള്‍ മുഴുക്കെ വംശസംരക്ഷണത്തിനുള്ള തെറ്റോ ശരിയോ ആയ പ്രകടനങ്ങള്‍ മാത്രമാണെന്ന്’തറപ്പിച്ചു പറയാന്‍ ഹിറ്റ്‌ലര്‍ മടിച്ചില്ല.
ചരിത്രപരമായി പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ 1942ല്‍ ക്രൈസ്തവ സ്പാനിഷ് രാജവംശം രക്തശുദ്ധിയുടെ പേരില്‍ അറബികളെയും ജൂതരെയും സ്‌പെയിനില്‍ നിന്ന് പുറത്താക്കി. വംശീയതയുടെ പ്രകടമായ പ്രതിഫലനമായിരുന്നു ഈ ദുഷ്‌ചെയ്തി. എന്നാല്‍ ഹിജ്‌റഃ ആദ്യ നൂറ്റാണ്ടില്‍ തന്നെ മുസ്‌ലിം സാമ്രാജ്യത്വത്തിന്റെ വികാസം പടിഞ്ഞാറിന് മതപരവും രാഷ്ട്രീയവും സാംസ്‌കാരികവുമായ ഭീഷണി ഉയര്‍ത്തിയെന്ന് മതാന്തര ഡയലോഗ് വിദഗ്ധന്‍ എ‌സ്‌പോസിറ്റോ നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
ജൈവ വംശീയവെറി ഏറെക്കുറെ അവസാനിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും സാംസ്‌കാരിക തലത്തില്‍ അത് മറ്റൊരു വേഷത്തില്‍ നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നു. സാംസ്‌കാരിക വംശീയതയില്‍ വംശം’എന്ന പേര് ഒരിക്കലും പ്രയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല; ഒരു ജനതയുടെ മേല്‍ സാംസ്‌കാരിക അധമത്വം വെച്ചുകെട്ടുകയാണ് അതിന്റെ മുഖ്യമായ പ്രത്യയശാസ്ത്ര പദ്ധതി. അപരവല്‍കരിക്കപ്പെട്ട വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ വിശ്വാസം, പെരുമാറ്റം, മൂല്യങ്ങള്‍, ചേഷ്ഠകള്‍ എന്നിവയൊക്കെ സമ്പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായ അവഹേളനത്തിന് വിധേയമാവും. അധമത്വപരമായ ഈ അവസ്ഥ അവരില്‍ അലിഞ്ഞു ചേര്‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും കാലമോ സ്ഥലമോ ബാധിക്കാത്ത വിധം സ്ഥായീഭാവം പൂണ്ടതാണെന്നും സങ്കല്‍പ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
ജൈവവംശീയ വാദത്തെപ്പോലെ സാംസ്‌കാരിക വംശീയതയിലും അസംസ്‌കൃതര്‍, പ്രാകൃതര്‍, അവികസിതര്‍, ഭീകരര്‍ എന്നിവ പ്രയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുമെങ്കിലും മതവിശ്വാസത്തെയാകും ഇവിടെ കൂടുതല്‍ അന്യവല്‍കരണത്തിന് ശരവ്യമാക്കുക. തങ്ങളുടെ അപരന്മാരായി റെഡ് ഇന്ത്യക്കാരെ നിരൂപിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവരുടെ സംസ്‌കൃതിയെ നിര്‍വചിച്ചു അമേരിക്കന്‍ വെള്ളക്കാര്‍. തങ്ങള്‍ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ജനമാണെന്നും എല്ലാ യുദ്ധങ്ങള്‍ക്കും പിടിച്ചടക്കലുകള്‍ക്കും വ്യക്തമായ വിധി (മാനിഫെസ്റ്റ് ഡെസ്റ്റിനി) ഉള്ളതായും തങ്ങളുടെ സാഹിത്യത്തിലൂടെ വെള്ളക്കാരായ വംശീയവാദികള്‍ പ്രചരിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.
നാസികള്‍ക്കെതിരായ സംഖ്യ ശക്തികളുടെ യുദ്ധം ജൂതരോട് ഹിറ്റ്‌ലര്‍ അനുവര്‍ത്തിച്ച നരഹത്യയുടെ പേരിലല്ല, ജര്‍മ്മന്‍ സാമ്രാജ്യ മോഹം യൂറോപ്യന്‍ – അമേരിക്കന്‍ ശക്തികള്‍ക്ക് മേലുയര്‍ത്തിയ ഭീഷണിമൂലമായിരുന്നു. 1942ല്‍ അമേരിക്കയിലെ പേള്‍ ഹാര്‍ബറില്‍ ജപ്പാന്‍ നടത്തിയ ആക്രമണത്തിന് ശേഷം അതിനീചമാം വിധം പടര്‍ത്തിയ ജപ്പാന്‍ വിരുദ്ധ വംശീയത അമേരിക്കന്‍ മുഖ്യധാരാ രാഷ്ട്രീയവും മീഡിയയും കൂടി ഏറ്റെടുത്തു. തദ്ഫലമായി ഒരു ലക്ഷത്തിലേറെ ജപ്പാനീസ് അമേരിക്കക്കാര്‍ക്ക് നിരവധി വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ കോണ്‍സന്‍ട്രേഷന്‍ ക്യാമ്പുകളില്‍ കഴിയേണ്ടിവന്നു. ജപ്പാനീസ് ബന്ധമുള്ളവരൊക്കെ പേള്‍ ഹാര്‍ബര്‍ ആക്രമണത്തിനുത്തരവാദികള്‍ എന്ന ബോധം വംശീയതയില്‍ നിന്നുയിരെടുത്തതായിരുന്നു. ഈ അനുഭവത്തെ വിസ്മരിക്കുന്നത് ചരിത്രപരമായ അംനേഷ്യ കൊണ്ടോ വംശവെറി കൊണ്ടോ മാത്രമായിരിക്കും.
ഈ പ്രവണതയുടെ തനിയാവര്‍ത്തനമാണ് അറബ് മുസ്‌ലിം ജനതക്കെതിരെ ഇന്ന് അമേരിക്കയിലും യൂറോപ്പിലും നടക്കുന്നത്. മുസ്‌ലിം നാടുകളില്‍ നടത്തുന്ന സായുധാക്രമണത്തിന് ന്യായീകരണം ചമക്കാനുള്ള സാംസ്‌കാരിക യുദ്ധമാണിത്. ഇസ്രയേലിനെ ശാസിക്കുന്ന 40 പ്രമേയങ്ങളാണ് രക്ഷാസമിതിയില്‍ ഇതിനകം അമേരിക്ക വീറ്റോ ചെയ്തത് എന്നും ഓര്‍ക്കണം.
മദ്ധ്യ-പൗരസ്ത്യ ദേശത്തെ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളുടെ മുഴുവന്‍ വേര് കിടക്കുന്നത് ദൈവം ഇസ്രായേല്‍ ജൂതര്‍ക്ക് പതിച്ചു നല്‍കി എന്ന വിശ്വാസത്തിലാണ്. വംശീയ വാദത്തിന്റെ അടിത്തറയിലാണ് ജൂത ക്രൈസ്തവ സയണിസങ്ങള്‍ കെട്ടിപ്പടുത്തിട്ടുള്ളത്. ഈ വംശീയ നൃശംസതക്ക് ലഭ്യമായ അന്ധമായ സാമ്രാജ്യത്വ പിന്തുണയാണ് പലസ്തീന്‍ ജനതയുടെ സ്വയം നിര്‍ണ്ണയാവകാശത്തെ നിഷേധിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ലോകസമാധാനത്തിന് ഭീഷണി ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്നത്. ഇസ്രായേലില്‍ പലസ്തീനികള്‍ക്കെതിരെ നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്ന വിവേചനത്തെ ചില അറബ് നാടുകളില്‍ അമുസ്‌ലിംകള്‍ക്കെതിരെ നടക്കുന്ന വിവേചനമുദ്ധരിച്ചാണ് സയണിസ്റ്റു് അലന്‍ ദെര്‍ഷോവിസ്റ്റ് ന്യായീകരിക്കുന്നത്.
മൂന്ന് അല്‍ഖൈദക്കാരെ തിരഞ്ഞ് സോമാലിയയില്‍ 80000 പേരെയാണ് യു.എസ് സാമ്രാജ്യത്വം വധിച്ചത്. ഇല്ലാത്ത കൂട്ടനശീകര ണായുധത്തിന്റെ പേരിലും തെളിയിക്കപ്പെടാത്ത സെപ്തംബര്‍ 11 ബിന്‍ലാദന്‍ ബന്ധത്തിന്റെ പേരിലും ഇറാഖിലും അഫ്ഗാനിലുമായി ഇരുപത് ലക്ഷത്തിലേറെ മനുഷ്യരെയാണ് പാശ്ചാത്യ ശക്തികള്‍ കൊന്ന് തള്ളിയത്. ഇവക്കു പിന്നില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച ഘടകമായി വംശീയതയും അതിന്റെ ആധുനിക രൂപങ്ങളിലൊന്നായ ഇസ്‌ലാമോഫോബിയയും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിയപ്പെടേണ്ടതുണ്ട്.
ഇറാനിയന്‍ ജനാധിപത്യത്തെ അറുകൊലചെയ്യാന്‍ 1953ല്‍ സി.ഐ.എ മുന്നിട്ടിറങ്ങി.
അള്‍ജീരിയയില്‍ 1991ല്‍ ജനാധിപത്യപരമായ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ ഇസ്‌ലാമിസ്റ്റുകള്‍ വിജയിച്ചതിനെ പട്ടാളം അട്ടിമറിച്ചതിനെയും ഇസ്‌ലാമിസ്റ്റ് ഭരണകൂടത്തെ പലവുരു തുര്‍ക്കി പട്ടാളം അട്ടിമറിച്ചതിനെയും അമേരിക്കയും പാശ്ചാത്യ ശക്തികളും പിന്തുണക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. 2006ല്‍ ഹമാസ് വിജയിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ജനാധിപത്യത്തിന്റെ പേരില്‍ സംസാരിക്കുന്ന അമേരിക്കയും ഇസ്രായേലും അതംഗീകരിച്ചില്ല. പലസ്തീനില്‍ നിന്നും വസൂലാക്കിയ റവന്യൂ നല്‍കാന്‍ വിസമ്മതിച്ച് ജനതയെ അമേരിക്കന്‍ പിന്തുണയോടെ കൂട്ടശിക്ഷക്ക് ഇസ്രായേല്‍ വിധേയമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. തുനീഷ്യയിലും ഈജിപ്തിലും ഏകാധിപത്യ ഭരണകൂടങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തിയ തേര്‍വാഴ്ചയെ അമേരിക്കയും ഇസ്രായേലും പിന്തുണക്കുക യായിരുന്നു.
